KiiroSpark
A neon-yellow universe website, manga-inspired. One-page universe website with a strong art direction: deep black, electric yellow, comic-style panels and Japanese captions.
Role
Art direction, design, development and deployment: Kaizen Vision Lab.
How it was built
Hand-written static website (HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, no framework), served by Cloudflare. The look is split into small dedicated stylesheets (panels, caution signs, poses, title), so each visual element can be tuned on its own.
Techniques and features
- Animated title: the KIIRO logo is a WebM video with a transparent background, played over the illustration, with a still fallback when the visitor prefers reduced motion or the video can’t play.
- Comic-style panels with Japanese captions, built in CSS on top of the illustrations.
- Black and neon-yellow palette, large condensed titles, glow effects.
- Header that changes on scroll, mobile menu, layout reworked for phones.
- Social links (TikTok, Instagram, X) gathered in a dedicated section.
